Ear Infection

It may stem from biomechanical restrictions in the upper spine, which can compromise the nervous and immune systems, creating conditions ripe for viral infections in your child's ears.

Traumatic Birth

Ensure your newborn receives a post-birth check-up to assess for any effects from a traumatic birth, such as in-utero constraint, C-section, or vacuum extraction.

Colic

For colic, birth trauma can lead to the baby's first subluxation, resulting in symptoms like excessive crying, restlessness, feeding difficulties, and agitation. Corrective care can bring relief.

Growing Pains

This is often a sign of underlying biomechanical stress to the nervous system, indicating the need for attention rather than dismissing it as a phase.

Plagiocephaly

Is when a baby has a flat spot or deformation on the skull either immediately evident from the birth canal, or begins to show up within days of the birth.  This can result in the future of the child showing up as deformed teeth alignment, scoliosis, or possible developmental delays with varied physiological manifestations. Assuming the baby has no underlying issues, this can be corrected and restored to almost perfect shape by our highly skilled practitioner.  However, there is a specific timeline for this to be done and ideally within the first weeks of life.  Up to 3 months significant change can be implemented, between 3-6 months some change is possible.  Beyond 6 months there is a significant limitation.

Breast Feeding Issues

This is often mis-understood by the new mother regrettably blaming herself for being unable to provide for her baby.  The reality is the baby is the problem and not the mother.  Assuming the mother has a full nipple and is able to lactate, 90% of the issue can be resolved with 2-6 sessions.  The mother will begin to notice a significant difference on the baby sucking soon after the first correction.  It is imperative the new baby has the mothers milk direct from the source to enhance a wide range of functional and physiological progress.

Why see Dr. Soni during Pregnancy?

The baby will develop in a small cavity of space and as the womb expands, the structural and functional condition of the mother becomes more important.  If the mother has any pelvic distortion either acute or chronic, this has a direct impact on the shape of the womb and this will influence the space for the baby to develop.  The best chance for the baby to have the ultimate amount of space to develop, is ensuring the mothers' pelvis is optimally functional and minimising birth trauma to both her and the baby.

PMS

Up to 90% of women experience some form of PMS, with 10-20% having severe symptoms. Many women choose our niche care to avoid drugs for menstrual discomfort. Issues in the lower spine can affect nerves managing the reproductive and hormonal systems, leading to heavy bleeding, severe cramping, missed periods, infertility, pain, and reduced fertility due to cells implanting outside the uterus.

Asthma

Asthma rates are increasing, potentially due to heightened chemical exposure in our environment. Research links the spinal column, nervous system, and respiratory system, explaining why many individuals report better breathing after consulting our practice.

The diaphragm, a crucial breathing muscle, is controlled by nerves exiting the spinal cord in the mid-neck area (C3, C4, and C5). Spinal issues in this region can disrupt the nerve supply to the diaphragm. Addressing spinal subluxations may restore proper nerve control, improving lung function. While not a cure, Spinal Balance Wellness care has helped many asthma sufferers. Unlike drugs that mask symptoms, our approach targets underlying nerve disturbances.

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

Spinal Balance techniques, while effective for the spine, can also benefit other joints in the body. Nearly every joint can experience issues affecting movement, often caused by trauma or repetitive motions.

The carpal tunnel, a structure in the wrist, can cause pain when nerves are compressed within it. Many are surprised to learn that wrist problems may be linked to issues in joints from the neck to the wrist. Subluxations in the upper spine can impact structures all the way down to the fingers, a condition known as double crush syndrome.

Scoliosis

Up to 90% of women experience some form of PMS, with 10-20% having severe symptoms. Many women choose our niche care to avoid drugs for menstrual discomfort. Issues in the lower spine can affect nerves managing the reproductive and hormonal systems, leading to heavy bleeding, severe cramping, missed periods, infertility, pain, and reduced fertility due to cells implanting outside the uterus.

TMJ

Temporomandibular Joint dysfunction can impact various areas, including your throat, face, eyes, jaw, head, mouth, neck, ears, and teeth. If you experience symptoms such as teeth grinding, ear noises, tense neck, jaw clicking, throat discomfort, facial sensations, eye pain, limited mouth opening, or headaches, you may be experiencing TMJ dysfunction. Consult our expert for a professional opinion.

Slipped Disc

Discs don't slip, but they can wedge, bulge, protrude, and herniate. When a disc wedges, it applies mild pressure on nearby nerves. Protrusion results in constant nerve pressure, akin to a blister. The most serious issue is a prolapsed disc, where the soft centre ruptures and leaks due to the disc's bands rupturing. Spinal Balance Wellness care provides a natural solution for various disc problems.

Neck Pain

Our neck is a crucial area in your spine, filled with nerves that affect your whole body. Even small misalignments in the seven bones of your neck can cause pain and limit movement in your neck and shoulders. Neck and shoulder discomfort, like stiffness or soreness, should be taken seriously if it lasts more than a day, happens often, or follows an accident or injury.

Stress can make neck pain worse. Emotional stress, especially, can tighten neck muscles over time and lead to headaches. While pain relievers may help temporarily, they don't fix the root problem.

Back Pain

Pain serves as your body's signal that something isn't right. While some resort to pain relievers to mask symptoms, it's akin to silencing a smoke detector without addressing the fire!

Common causes of back pain frequently stem from issues with facet joints, spinal discs and predominantly the pelvis. When these joints fail to move correctly, discomfort ensues, and pressure on the nerves can exacerbate the pain. Specific cranial-spinal corrections can improve spinal function, leading to healing of discs, joints and soft tissues, reduced nerve involvement, alleviated pain, and enhanced stability.

Headaches

Instead of resorting to pain relievers, we emphasise a natural approach to address headaches. Our goal is to identify and treat the root cause. Many headaches originate from misalignments in the spinal bones of the neck, which can impact nerves, muscles, and blood supply to the head.

Stress

Not all stress is bad. A 20-minute workout at the gym might be beneficial for a fit 25-year-old but could be taxing for a 75-year-old grandmother. Physical stress includes repetitive motions like painting or injuries from accidents, while mental stress arises from work deadlines, grief, or emotional challenges. Chemical stress from substances like drugs, alcohol, and environmental pollutants affects our nervous system and muscle tone. Although stress cannot be eliminated, regular care can help us better manage and adapt to it.
